Wellness Tip: Eat less SaltMost of us get more sodium than we need. Even if you go easy on the salt shaker, your sodium intake may still be high. Packaged and prepared foods such as ready-to-eat products or restaurants meals are common sources of sodium. Learn about common sources of sodium. Begin the new year by making small changes that lead to big wins. For more healthy tips, visit wellness.ccs.k12.nc.us.

January is BO-TIME! We will meet to munch on the south’s best chicken! All gators in attendance will be entered into a drawing for three $5.00 gift certificates to shop at our very own Swamp Shop School Store! PTGO members who flash their membership cards will also receive a gift. Not a PTGO Member?  No worries! Memberships will be on sale that night as well. Please see your PTGO representative to sign-in when you arrive. No special flyer or magic code needed. This is a PTGO sponsored event and Bojangles has graciously agreed to donate a portion of the proceeds to  Gallberry Farm Elementary. Bojangles is located at 5750 Corporation Drive Hope Mills, NC 28348, just down the street from the School.

Please click  to view the new visitation policy:

GFES Visitation Policy

These policies and procedures are first and foremost for the safety of our students and staff but they also address the safety of our visitors. It is crucial that we are able to account for all people on campus at all times. Safety is always our number one priority. We know our Gallberry Families have this very same priority. Thank you in advance for helping us in this and all our endeavors.

Principal
